Notes. Calculators may be used on all tests. The prerequisite for this course is a satisfactory placement test score or equivalent. Students are responsible for all assignments made in class.

Four tests plus a final exam will be given. The final exam is recorded as two test scores which will give a total of 6 test scores. Students may drop lowest test score. Your final exam score will be substituted for any test missed during the quarter. If you do not take the final, your score on any missed test is zero.
Makeup Tests. There are no makeup tests. Your final exam score will be substituted for any test missed during the quarter.
Final Grade. Tests will count 80 percent of your final grade. Short quizzes will count 10 percent. Maple, Scientific Notebook and computer projects will count 10 percent.
Class attendance policy is that given in the 1997/1998 Columbus College Catalog. Excessive absences will result in a "WF".
Course Withdrawal. See Syllabus After May 8th, all students with excessive absences will receive a WF for the course.
Final exam is Monday, June 8th , 6:15 PM - 8:15 PM
