Text: A transition to Advanced Mathematics, Smith, Eggen, St. Andre, Brooks Cole, 4th Edition, ISBN: 0-534-34028-8.

Course Outline:  Parts of Chapters 1-5.

Tests:  Five Tests plus a final exam will be given.

Final Grade. The final counts as two tests.  The lowest test score of the seven test scores will be dropped.   Your final grade is the simple average of your six highest test scores.. Grading scale: 90-100 A, 80-90 B, 70-80 C, 60-70 D.

Makeup Tests. There are no makeup tests. Your final exam score will be substituted for any test missed during the semester.

Deadline for withdrawal without receiving a WF is the midterm of the course. See schedule booklet for midterm of the fall semester. The midterm of most courses is March 1st..

Class attendance policy is that given in the 1999/2000 Columbus State University Catalog. Students should have nothing else scheduled meeting time of this class. If you have a conflict, please contact your instructor. See Department Information


Final exam is Wednesday, May 3rd, 9:40 AM - 11:40 AM
