Note.  You may use the Java Graphing applets instead of a graphing calculator or graphing calculator simulation.  On tests, be sure to bring a scientific calculator.  The scientific calculator has the trig functions, inverse trig functions, log functions, and e^x.  On the less expensive calculators, you normally get the inverse trig functions by using a 2nd or inverse key on your calculator and then selecting the corresponding trig function.  A scientific calculator does not have to be a graphing calculator. 

A graphing calculator is not required for taking your tests.  However, some graphs you must be able to sketch by hand (a graphing calculator helps).  See my old tests for an idea of the types of graph you may have to sketch by hand.
