Logging onto WebCT 3.6
Please see Browser Tuneup on the initial WebCT login screen before you log onto WebCT. If you use Netscape, use Netscape 4.7 or later.
If you are accessing WebCT while on the CSU campus you may have to login to the CSU network. That is a separate login from your WebCT login. For the WebCT login, you just need access to the internet (anywhere in the world) and one of the newer Web browsers such as Netscape or IE Explorer.
WebCT Global ID. Your WebCT global id is lastname_firstname . No caps, no spaces. If your last name is hyphenated, omit the hyphen for your global id.
WebCT Password. Your initial WebCT password will be ssnxxxx . The letters ssn must be lower case. The xxxx is the last four digits of your social security number. You may change your password after you login to WebCT

Click on the link above or type in webct.colstate.edu in the address field of your web browser. This will send you to the login page for WebCT (Version 3.1).
Click log on to myWebCT once you get to the WebCT log in page.
Type in lastname_firstname for the user name and type in ssnxxxx for your password. Remember no caps in your user name and use no caps to type the letters ssn.
Should you be successful, then you should see a screen similar to the one below depending upon which courses you are taking.
