Off Campus Testing

If you can not take the tests on the Columbus State Campus, then you must find a proctor. The online testing procedure is the same except for the location and proctor. The proctor will need to provide access to the internet with Netscape 4.7 (or better) or IE 4.0 (or better).

  • Possible Proctors

    • Professors at any High School, College or University

    • Members of testing centers at any High School, College or University (a fee may be charged)

    • Librarians

    • College or University Personnel: Registrar, Professional Staff

    • Member of an adult/continuing education office or counseling center.

    • Armed Forces Education Office Personnel 

    • Public or Private School Personnel: Superintendent, Principal, Guidance Counselor, Librarian, Teacher. 

    • Civil Service Examine

    • Supervisor at work.

  • Identification. Some testing centers require one and sometimes two identifications.  Some possible identification.

    • Official photo I.D. Which includes a photo, birth date, and signature. Driver's license, passport, or military I.D. are generally accepted. 

    • Additional identification may be required. You may not be allowed to take a test without proper identification. 

    If you desire off campus testing, please complete and submit the Proctor Form within two weeks of orientation.  With the approval of the instructor, you may submit the form later.
